I depends on if the feature is on in the UI. Pls check if there is an option RTL-Layout in Developer Settings. - Oma -

I think that you use the bcm4329 chip. On firmware OmniROM 4.4.4 v1.4.1 wifi worked. But there were problems with the sdcard memory.
